Helena Jansen stud­ied Ger­man lan­guage and lit­er­at­ure and His­tory at the uni­ver­sit­ies of Berne and Ber­lin. Dur­ing and after her aca­dem­ic stud­ies she worked as a journ­al­ist and edit­or. After sev­er­al years with a Berne news­pa­per, she joined Zoe­beli Communications in 2003. She is, among oth­er things, in charge of assign­ments for the State Sec­ret­ari­at for Eco­nom­ic Affairs (SECO) and the Fed­er­al roads office (FEDRO). As part of the com­ple­tion of her degree as Exec­ut­ive Mas­ter of Sci­ence in Cor­por­ate Communications Man­age­ment at the Uni­ver­sity of Lugano, in 2007 Helena Jansen received the Burson Marsteller Award for Aca­dem­ic Excel­lence for her team­work on the sol­ar-powered plane Sol­ar Impulse. Her key activ­it­ies include Stra­tegic con­sult­ing, Cor­por­ate Iden­tity and Pub­lic Affairs.
