Plain and simple language

Words that inspire

Copywriting is both a craft and an art. Copywriting means juggling with words, arousing emotions, and conveying stories. For informed, inspired and motivated readers. Whether for reports, digital media, or flyers – we get to the heart of your message.

Written to reach everyone

Texts that everyone understands are the key to an inclusive and sustainable society. They create access to information, promote dialog, and enable participation – regardless of education, language, or background. At our competence center for plain and simple language, we implement projects in simplified language forms.

Plain language

Plain language (Leichte Sprache) is a greatly simplified form of German. It is based on binding rules, and also includes adaptations to the layout. Plain language is primarily aimed at people with cognitive impairments.

Simple language

Texts can be simplified to varying degrees. There is no binding set of rules for simple language. Depending on the degree of simplification, the texts are aimed at readers with severe reading difficulties or at a broad audience. With texts in simple language, authorities, organizations, and companies can reach all their target groups in a confident, targeted manner.
